The construction documentation for this project is currently in progress. This 64 acre property development has undergone 4 decades of proposed uses before being approved and entitled. This significant parcel known as The Golden Triangle, is named for its prominent location centered by the 15 freeway, the 215 freeway, and Murrieta Hot Springs Road. The City Council ultimately approved to entitle the site into a mixed use development featuring retail, restaurants, hotel, office and entertainment venues.
The first phase of the development includes three main vehicle access points from the bordering highways, central pedestrian pathway with open air corridors, parking fields and landscape buffers. Retail use is also part of phase 1 and will extend 36 acres with 25 buildings totaling 279,500 sf, termed as “Shops at the Triangle”. The remaining acreage has been appropriated for future mixed use phases to follow. The project is anticipated not only to generate jobs and revenue for the City, but also add value to the lifestyle as a central hub connecting the community.
